where is dalston?
A good question indeed, as parts of nearby Shoreditch and Stoke Newington are sometimes mistakenly referred to as Dalston. However, as near as we can get it, give or take a few streets here or there, here is a map of Dalston.
how to get here
Rail: One Rail to London Fields or Hackney Downs from Liverpool Street.
London Overground: East London Line (Dalston Junction station from 2010) and North London Line (Dalston Kingsland or Hackney Central).
Buses: 67, 76, 149 and 243 travel along Kingsland Road. 30, 38, 56 and 242 travel along Dalston Lane. The 236 takes a convoluted route through Dalston including Ridley Road market and Queensbridge Road on its way from Finsbury Park to Hackney Wick.
